Situated in the northern end of the Margaret river wine region, Arimia has one of the most diverse landscapes in the Southwest. Overlooking the stunning Indian Ocean with views of the beautiful Cape Clairault National Park to the north-west, Arimia is truly one of the rare beauties of the South West.
Blessed with a diversity of soils Arimia have been able to plant a selection of fruits and watch them thrive in their choice growing conditions. This combination of fruits and flavours enable Arimia to get creative with their blends to make truly delicious vintages.
The abundant rainfall in the region supplies a natural irrigation system to the vineyards as water cascades down the hills of the Karri Forrest and into Arimia’s reservoirs. In addition the stunning Quninup Creek winds its way through the property, providing additional moisture rich in nutrients.
With such a perfect growing environment the productivity doesn’t just stop at wine, the soils are also perfect for cultivating olives. So of course Arimia have an orchard dedicated to doing just this. Harvesting a selection of olives, they are adept at the pressing and blending process to produce a fruity variety of oil, perfect for enjoying on a salad or simply with crusty bread.
Arimia is a jewel in the Margaret River region and has come along way from the cattle grazing property it was back in 1997. With sheer hard work and determination the Spencer-Washbourne and Royer families have cleared the land and hand-built their vineyard to produce an enviable quality of produce, true to nature and rich in flavour.
